This print is based on the Italian painting "The Plunder of Europa".
It is a passage from Greek mythology, where a god who falls in love with a princess at first sight changes her gender and appearance, and takes her away from picking flowers to become his queen.

She is also depicted on the Greek 2€ coin, and the place where she landed after being taken away is the woman who gave birth to the current name of Europe:

She was half kidnapped, but she was supposed to have a child in the new land.
This Pullover expresses the unstable feelings and feminine strength of Europa, a woman who lived as a mother while being taken away to a foreign country alone.
